The Crime and Justice Research Network at The University of New South Wales, together with its associated network, the Australian and New Zealand Critical Criminology Network, invites activists, academics, researchers and students to attend and participate in the Australian and New Zealand Critical Criminology Conference.

The conference follows on from the success of the first critical criminology conference held in 2007: the Australasian Teaching Critical Criminology Conference, which was hosted by the University of Sydney Institute of Criminology and the Crime and Justice Research Network. The success of this inaugural conference led to the formation of the Australian and New Zealand Critical Criminology Network and generated the interest in organising a similar conference this year.

The Australian and New Zealand Critical Criminology Conference will not be based on any particular theme, enabling conference participants the opportunity to present work of interest within the broad area of critical criminology.
